About KG Dreads
My name is Kelguim, born and raised in Santiago, Cape Verde (1998). Since 2019, I have been living with my family in Tiel, the Netherlands.
At the age of 15, I taught myself the locs technique, and since then, I have had the privilege of working with people of all hair types.
My style is known for creating unique, consistent locs without knots or tunnels.
My work has spread across Europe: Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Portugal, Norway, and beyond.
In addition to my passion for locs, music is another love of mine, and I also make a living from it.
Currently, I perform my services in the Netherlands.
Until now, I have been working in Rotterdam, and starting this month, I am also available at Hairstudio Variaty in Almere.
You can book me in Rotterdam on weekends and from Tuesday to Friday in Almere.

What technique do I use?
Crochet technique. Locs are updated with a crochet hook, without wax or chemical products.
Important information
- Make an appointment: via the online booking system. When booking you pay €25 (down payment) and the remaining amount on the day of the appointment via Tikkie or cash.
- For new loc installations: a 50% deposit of the total amount is required.
- All prices: are indicative and may vary depending on the length and thickness of your locs. Extra working hours will be charged accordingly and must be paid at the salon.
- For installations: please send a recent photo of your current hair and an example of your desired result via email or WhatsApp.
How does booking and payment work?
- Book Your Appointment
Choose your treatment and preferred day/time via the online booking system. - Confirmation
After booking, you will immediately receive a confirmation of your appointment. - Deposit Payment
After booking, return to this page to pay the €25 deposit via the payment button down below. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours after booking. Otherwise, your appointment will be automatically canceled.
- Payment on Appointment Day
The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your appointment via Tikkie or cash.
